Flick Sift Privacy Policy

FlickSift Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 03, 2026

FlickSift (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how FlickSift accesses, processes, stores, and protects information when you use the application.

1. Photo and Media Access

FlickSift requests access to photos and screenshots stored on your device so that you can review, organize, categorize, export, and delete them.

Your photos and screenshots:

  • Are processed locally on your device.
  • Are not uploaded to FlickSift servers.
  • Are not stored by us.
  • Are not sold or shared with third parties.
  • Remain under your control.

FlickSift only performs actions such as keeping, organizing, exporting, moving to trash, restoring, or permanently deleting media when you initiate or confirm those actions.

2. Local App Data

Information such as screenshots, filenames, notes, collections, favorites, sorting decisions, and organization state is processed locally on your device.

Clearing the app’s data or uninstalling FlickSift removes locally stored organization data. Exported files remain in the storage location or service selected by you and are not automatically deleted.

Google Play purchase records and server-side technical records are stored and managed separately from your local app data.

3. Free Usage Limits and Quota Verification

FlickSift may provide limited free Sifting usage.

To enforce Free usage limits and prevent simple abuse such as repeatedly uninstalling and reinstalling the application to reset the free allowance, FlickSift processes a limited pseudonymous quota identifier and quota-related activity.

The quota identifier is derived from an Android app/device/profile-scoped identifier and is transformed before being used by the quota service.

FlickSift does not send your raw screenshots or gallery contents to the quota service.

The quota service may process information such as:

  • A pseudonymous quota identifier.
  • Initial quota activation time.
  • Current quota cycle information.
  • Remaining or consumed Sift allowance.
  • Session authorization information.
  • Random transaction identifiers used to prevent duplicate quota consumption or duplicate Undo refunds.
  • Limited technical information required to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the quota service.

The quota service does not receive:

  • Screenshot images.
  • Screenshot contents.
  • Screenshot URIs.
  • Filenames.
  • Notes.
  • Collections.
  • Favorites.
  • Gallery contents.
  • Screenshot metadata used for organization.

The quota identifier is used only for operating FlickSift’s Free usage system, preventing abuse, maintaining service integrity, and resolving related technical issues.

The quota identifier is used to manage Free usage limits and verify rewards. When you choose to watch a rewarded ad, a pseudonymous quota identifier and an opaque reward claim ID are sent to Google AdMob for server-side reward verification and to KLARHIM LTD’s quota service. FlickSift does not send your screenshots, filenames, notes, or collection contents for this purpose.

FlickSift’s Free Sift service sends a pseudonymous quota identifier, quota status, and random session or operation identifiers to KLARHIM LTD’s quota backend.

Technical error reports may contain an error code, app version, Android version, and device manufacturer or model.

When reviewer access is used, the entered review code and a random installation identifier are sent for verification.

No screenshot images, filenames, notes, or collection content are transmitted to these services.

4. Internet Connection and Free Sifting

FlickSift primarily processes and organizes your screenshots locally on your device.

An internet connection may be required for Free Sift quota verification, reviewer access verification, Google Play purchases, and RevenueCat purchase validation or restoration.

Connections to KLARHIM LTD’s backend may generate technical logs containing your IP address and request time.

FlickSift does not transmit screenshot images, filenames, notes, or collection content to its backend during these operations.

Once Lifetime access has been verified, previously authorized features can continue to work offline.

5. Purchases and Purchase Verification

FlickSift offers a single Lifetime purchase, which is a one-time payment and not a subscription. There are no recurring charges.

FlickSift uses Google Play Billing and RevenueCat to manage, verify, and restore Lifetime access.

The RevenueCat SDK is initialized when the app starts, including for Free users, and uses a randomly generated app installation identifier.

Google Play and RevenueCat may process product and purchase information, entitlement status, and technical information needed to provide and verify Lifetime access.

Payment card details are handled by Google Play. FlickSift does not receive or store your payment card information.

No screenshot images, filenames, notes, or collection content are sent to RevenueCat.

6. Collections, Notes, Favorites, and Sifted Data

FlickSift allows you to organize screenshots using features such as:

  • Sifted / Ayıklananlar.
  • Custom collections.
  • Favorites.
  • Notes.

These organization records are stored locally on your device.

A screenshot may appear in several organizational views without FlickSift creating additional physical copies of the screenshot.

FlickSift does not upload your collection names, notes, favorites, or Sifted organization data to the Free quota service.

7. Similar Images

FlickSift may analyze screenshots locally to identify visually similar images.

Similarity detection is performed using data available on your device.

FlickSift does not upload your screenshots to FlickSift servers for similarity detection.

You remain responsible for deciding which similar screenshots to keep or delete.

FlickSift does not automatically permanently delete screenshots based solely on similarity analysis.

8. Trash and Deletion

When supported by Android, FlickSift uses Android’s media and trash mechanisms to move screenshots to the system trash, restore them, or permanently delete them.

Certain deletion or trash actions may require Android system confirmation.

FlickSift does not claim that a screenshot has been physically removed until the relevant Android operation has completed successfully.

Android may independently control how long items remain in the system trash.

9. Backups and Exports

FlickSift creates password-protected metadata backups using the .flicksift file format. Older unencrypted JSON metadata backups can still be imported.

Backups may contain favorites, notes, collection assignments, and keep/review state. They do not contain actual screenshot images or restore your Free Sift quota.

If you forget your backup password, it cannot be recovered.

Backup and export files are saved to the destination you choose, which may be managed by a third-party storage provider.

ZIP export and sharing allow you to send selected screenshots to your chosen destination or service. FlickSift does not upload these files to its own servers.

10. Notifications

If you grant notification permission, FlickSift may send notifications related to app usage, unfinished activity, available functionality, or quota-cycle information.

Notifications are optional and may be disabled through FlickSift settings or your device settings.

Free users may receive a daily Sift allowance reward when they open the app and complete a daily check-in. The reward is applied automatically, at most once per server-defined UTC day. Consecutive daily check-ins form a seven-day streak; missing a day restarts the streak. Completing day seven may unlock one permanent collection slot, up to the app’s limit of five additional slots.

11. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

FlickSift does not sell personal information.

FlickSift offers optional rewarded advertisements to Free users through Google AdMob. An ad is shown only after you choose an advertised reward action, such as obtaining additional Sift decisions or spinning the reward wheel. Lifetime users do not receive these ads. Completing an ad does not by itself grant a reward; the reward is applied after server-side verification.

The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share information such as IP address, app interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention, subject to applicable privacy choices and SDK configuration. FlickSift does not send screenshot images, filenames, notes, or collection contents to AdMob. For reward verification, Google and KLARHIM LTD process a pseudonymous quota identifier and an opaque reward claim ID. Where required, you can review or change advertising privacy choices from the app’s privacy settings.

FlickSift does not use your screenshots for:

  • Advertising.
  • Behavioral profiling.
  • Artificial intelligence training.
  • Cross-app tracking.

Limited technical information may be processed where necessary to:

  • Operate the Free quota system.
  • Verify purchases.
  • Maintain Lifetime entitlements.
  • Diagnose service failures.
  • Maintain security.
  • Prevent abuse.
  • Protect service integrity.

FlickSift does not use the pseudonymous quota identifier for advertising or tracking across unrelated applications.

12. Server Logs and Technical Information

Like most internet services, FlickSift’s quota and verification infrastructure may receive technical connection information when your device communicates with the service.

This may include:

  • IP address visible during the network connection.
  • Request time.
  • Service response status.
  • Limited server or security logs.

Such information is used only for security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, service operation, and reliability.

We aim to limit server logs to information reasonably necessary for these purposes.

13. Data Retention

FlickSift’s local organization data remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app’s data, or uninstall the app.

Clearing app data or uninstalling FlickSift does not delete exported files or server-held quota, technical, or purchase-related records.

You may contact hello@klarhim.com to request access to or deletion of server-held records, subject to identity verification and applicable legal obligations.

FlickSift provides an in-app option to prepare a privacy request email containing your pseudonymous quota reference and random purchase installation reference. You can review and send this email yourself. No screenshot images or note content are included in the request.

Retention and deletion of server-held records are managed according to applicable legal requirements and operational procedures. Specific retention periods have not yet been established.

14. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed by FlickSift’s quota and purchase-verification services.

Examples may include:

  • Encrypted network communication.
  • Restricted service permissions.
  • Secret-management systems.
  • Limited-purpose pseudonymous identifiers.
  • Server-side access controls.

However, no electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

15. Children’s Privacy

FlickSift is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information through FlickSift services, please contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.

16. Your Choices and Rights

You can manage or delete your locally stored data through FlickSift or your device settings.

You may request access to or deletion of server-held quota, technical, or purchase-related records by contacting hello@klarhim.com.

FlickSift includes an in-app privacy request option that prepares an email containing pseudonymous identifiers to help locate relevant records. You can review the email before sending it. No screenshot images or note content are included.

Depending on applicable data protection laws, you may also have rights to request correction, restriction, portability, or to object to certain processing activities.

Requests may be subject to identity verification and applicable legal obligations. We will assess and respond to requests in accordance with applicable law.

Uninstalling the app or clearing its data does not automatically delete server-held records or previously exported files.

17. Third-Party Services

FlickSift may rely on third-party services necessary to operate certain features.

These may include:

  • Google Play for application distribution and purchases.
  • RevenueCat for purchase and entitlement management.
  • Google Cloud infrastructure for limited FlickSift backend services.

These providers may process limited technical or transaction-related information according to their own privacy policies and applicable terms.

FlickSift does not provide these services with your screenshots for advertising, profiling, or AI training.

18. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when FlickSift’s features, legal requirements, service providers, or data practices change.

The latest version will be published on this page, and the “Last updated” date will be revised.

Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads and User Messaging Platform): Provides optional rewarded ads to Free users, manages applicable advertising privacy choices, and sends server-side reward verification callbacks. It may process IP address, app interactions, diagnostics, and device or account identifiers. Reward verification includes a pseudonymous quota identifier and an opaque reward claim ID; it does not include screenshot images or your notes and collections.
