FlickSift Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of the FlickSift Android application and related services. By downloading or using FlickSift, you agree to these Terms.

1. About FlickSift

FlickSift helps you review, organize and manage screenshots and other permitted images on your Android device. Features may include favorites, notes, collections, duplicate detection, export, backup and deletion tools.

2. Device Access

FlickSift only accesses images and device features for which you grant permission through Android. You can change or revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings. Some features may not work if the required permission is not granted.

3. Your Content

You retain all rights to your screenshots, images, notes and other content.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to manage, copy, export or share content using FlickSift. FlickSift does not claim ownership of your content.

4. Local Storage and Backups

Screenshots, notes, favorites, collections and review progress are primarily stored on your device. Unless you create and retain a backup or export, uninstalling FlickSift, clearing app storage, losing the device or resetting the device may permanently remove locally stored organization data.

You are responsible for keeping any backups you consider necessary.

5. Deleting Images

When you ask FlickSift to delete an image, Android may display a system confirmation and may move the image to the device’s trash before permanent deletion.

You are responsible for reviewing selected images before confirming a deletion. Permanent deletion or emptying the system trash may not be reversible.

6. Exports and Sharing

When you export, back up or share content, the selected destination or third-party application controls the resulting copy. FlickSift is not responsible for how a destination or third party stores, uses or shares exported content.

7. Lifetime Purchase

FlickSift may offer a one-time Lifetime purchase that unlocks designated premium features for the supported lifetime of the application.

Payments are processed by Google Play. FlickSift does not directly collect or store your payment card details. Purchase verification and restoration may be provided through Google Play and RevenueCat.

A Lifetime purchase is not a recurring subscription. It does not guarantee that every current feature will remain unchanged or that FlickSift will support every future device or Android version indefinitely.

Purchase restoration requires access to the Google Play account used for the original purchase and may require an internet connection.

8. Refunds

Purchases and refund requests are handled through Google Play and are subject to Google Play’s applicable refund policies and mandatory consumer protection laws.

9. Acceptable Use

You may not:

• Use FlickSift for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to interfere with the application’s security or operation
• Reverse engineer, modify or redistribute FlickSift except where applicable law expressly permits it
• Use FlickSift in a way that infringes another person’s rights

10. Intellectual Property

FlickSift, including its name, design, software, graphics and branding, is owned by or licensed to the FlickSift developer and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of FlickSift or its intellectual property to you.

11. Availability and Changes

We may update, modify, suspend or discontinue features to improve FlickSift, maintain compatibility, address security issues or comply with legal and platform requirements.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation on every Android device or version.

12. Disclaimer

FlickSift is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that duplicate detection, screenshot identification, storage estimates or other automated results will always be complete or error-free.

You should review selected images before deleting, moving, exporting or sharing them.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the FlickSift developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of FlickSift, including loss of locally stored data or content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when FlickSift’s features, services or legal obligations change. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
